Romans 13

Romans 13

Paul instructs believers to submit to governing authorities, because all authority is established by God. Resistance to the government is resistance to God. He clarifies that authorities serve as God's agents for justice and punishment. Paul repeats that love fulfills the Law, as love does no wrong to a neighbor. He warns that the hour is late, urging believers to wake up and cast off the deeds of darkness, living honorably as they await the Lord's return.
