Romans 1

Romans 1

Paul introduces his letter to the Christians in Rome, declaring his calling as an apostle to preach the gospel of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. He confirms the gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, both Jew and Gentile. Paul then describes the universal guilt of humanity, stating that God's power and divine nature are clearly visible in creation. Yet, people suppress this truth and turn to idolatry, resulting in God giving them over to immoral and unnatural desires.
