Romans 4

Romans 4

Paul proves that justification (being declared righteous) comes through faith alone, using Abraham as the prime example. He shows that Abraham was credited with righteousness before he was circumcised and before the Law was given, meaning his righteousness was based entirely on his faith in God’s promise. Abraham's example serves as a model for all believers, proving that God justifies the ungodly who simply believe in the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.
