Romans 5

Romans 5

Since we have been justified through faith, we now have peace with God and stand in grace. Paul explains that suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope, because the Holy Spirit pours God’s love into our hearts. He then contrasts the work of Adam with the work of Christ. Adam’s single act of disobedience brought sin and death to all humanity, but Christ’s single act of righteousness brings justification and eternal life to all who believe.
