Song of Solomon 3

Song of Solomon 3

The Shulammite woman describes a sleepless night where she desperately searched the city streets for her absent beloved. She wanders through the streets until she finally finds him and holds him fast, refusing to let him go until she brings him to her mother’s house. The chapter then shifts to a majestic scene: the procession of King Solomon’s carriage, which is adorned with sixty mighty men. The watchmen of Zion are urged to come out and admire the magnificent spectacle of the King.
