Zechariah 12
Zechariah prophesies about a future time when God will make Jerusalem an immovable cup of trembling for all the surrounding nations who attack it. God will miraculously defend the city, giving strength to the leaders of Judah. The Lord promises that when the enemy attacks, God will pour out a Spirit of grace and supplication upon the people of Jerusalem. They will look upon Him whom they have pierced and mourn for Him deeply, as one mourns for an only son.
