Zechariah 3

Zechariah 3

The vision focuses on Joshua the High Priest, who stands before the Angel of the Lord while Satan accuses him. Joshua is dressed in filthy clothes, symbolizing the nation's sin. God silences Satan, commands the filthy garments to be removed, and dresses Joshua in rich, clean robes and a clean turban, symbolizing atonement and cleansing. God promises Joshua that he and his companions are men who are a sign of the coming Servant, the Branch, who will remove the sin of the land in a single day.
