A vision of a man measuring Jerusalem. God promises to be a wall of fire around the city, declaring that it will be restored and filled with God's presence.

A vision of Joshua the High Priest being accused by Satan. God removes Joshua's filthy clothes and dresses him in clean robes, symbolizing cleansing and forgiveness.

A vision of the golden lampstand and two olive trees. God promises the Temple will be completed, "not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit."

Two visions of judgment: a flying scroll (curse of the Law) and a large container (ephah) carrying Wickedness away from the land.

Zechariah acts out God's rejection of corrupt leadership. He is paid thirty pieces of silver (the price of a slave), a prophecy of Christ's betrayal.

A prophecy of Jerusalem being attacked by nations. The people will look upon Him whom they have pierced (the Messiah) and mourn deeply.

God promises a fountain will be opened for cleansing from sin. God declares, "Strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered," (quoted by Jesus).
