Jesus demonstrates His power, healing a leper and a centurion's servant. He calms a fierce storm on the sea, astonishing the disciples.

Jesus forgives the sins of a paralyzed man before healing him. He calls the tax collector Matthew and heals many, showing compassion on the harassed crowds.

Jesus teaches that believers must be humble like a child. He tells the Parable of the Lost Sheep and teaches that forgiveness should be limitless ("seventy-seven times").

Jesus affirms God's original intent for lifelong marriage. He challenges a rich young man to sell his possessions, teaching that salvation is difficult for the wealthy.
