Jesus teaches the Parable of the Sower from a boat. He later calms a fierce storm with a simple command, leading the disciples to question who He truly is.

Jesus casts a legion of demons into pigs. He heals a woman with a chronic bleeding issue and raises Jairus's twelve-year-old daughter from the dead.

Jesus is rejected in His hometown, Nazareth, due to their unbelief. He sends out the Twelve Disciples in pairs. The chapter recounts the tragic execution of John the Baptist.

Jesus condemns the Pharisees for prioritizing human tradition over God’s command. He teaches that defilement comes from the heart. He heals a deaf man and the daughter of a Syrophoenician woman.

Jesus feeds four thousand people. Peter confesses, "You are the Christ." Jesus predicts His death and resurrection and teaches that followers must deny themselves and take up their cross.

Jesus is transfigured before Peter, James, and John. He later heals a boy the disciples couldn't cure and teaches them that the greatest must be the servant of all.

Jesus defends God's intent for lifelong marriage. He challenges the rich young man to sell all his possessions. He restores sight to blind Bartimaeus outside Jericho.

Jesus makes His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. He cleanses the Temple, driving out merchants, and teaches about the power of faith and prayer.

Jesus silences critics on paying taxes to Caesar. He affirms that the greatest commandment is loving God and neighbor and praises the poor widow's offering.

Jesus delivers the Olivet Discourse, predicting the Temple's destruction and the signs of His return. He urges believers to "Stay awake" and be ready.

Judas betrays Jesus. At the Last Supper, Jesus institutes communion. Jesus prays in agony in Gethsemane, and Peter denies Him three times.

Pilate yields to the crowd to crucify Jesus. Jesus dies, and the temple curtain is torn. A Roman centurion declares, "Truly this man was the Son of God!"
