Matthew
Matthew is the first Gospel and serves as a powerful bridge between the Old and New Testaments. Matthew begins with Jesus’ genealogy, birth, and the famous Sermon on the Mount, which lays out the ethical standards of the Kingdom of Heaven. It culminates with Jesus’ death, resurrection, and the Great Commission, where he instructs his followers to go and make disciples of all nations, establishing the foundation for the expansion of the Christian Church to the entire world.
