1 John 5

John confirms that everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. He states that God's commands are not burdensome because everyone born of God overcomes the world through their faith. John provides three witnesses (the Spirit, the water, and the blood) that testify to Jesus Christ. He assures believers that they have eternal life and can have confidence that God hears their prayers when they ask according to His will.
