2 Chronicles 19

2 Chronicles 19

The prophet Jehu confronts Jehoshaphat upon his return from the disastrous alliance with Ahab, rebuking him severely: "Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord?" Despite the rebuke, Jehoshaphat continues his righteous reforms, establishing judges throughout the land and charging them to act righteously. He appoints Levites, priests, and family heads in Jerusalem to administer justice in all matters of the Law, restoring order and holiness to the kingdom.
