2 Timothy 3

2 Timothy 3

Paul warns Timothy that in the last days, people will be lovers of themselves, money, and pleasure rather than lovers of God, possessing a form of godliness but denying its power. Paul reminds Timothy to continue in the things he has learned, knowing that all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. Paul encourages Timothy to endure persecution, just as Paul did in Lystra and Iconium.
