2 Timothy 4

2 Timothy 4

Paul issues a solemn charge to Timothy to preach the Word accurately, be prepared in all seasons, and correct and encourage with great patience and careful instruction. Paul knows his own life is drawing to a close, declaring, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." He anticipates the crown of righteousness. Paul warns Timothy about Demas, who deserted him, and urges Timothy to come quickly and bring John Mark with him.
