Amos 9

Amos 9

Amos’s final vision is of the Lord standing beside the altar, bringing complete destruction upon the nation. God promises there will be no escape—neither hiding in the highest mountain nor sinking to the bottom of the sea will save them from His judgment. While He promises to scatter Israel, Amos ends with a glorious message of restoration: God will rebuild the fallen tent of David, restore their fortunes, and plant His people securely back in the land, never to be uprooted again.
