Daniel 2

Daniel 2

King Nebuchadnezzar is troubled by a prophetic dream, but he demands his wise men tell him the dream's content and its meaning, threatening death if they fail. Daniel and his friends pray, and God reveals the mystery. Daniel explains the dream depicts a colossal image representing four world empires: gold (Babylon), silver (Medo-Persia), bronze (Greece), and iron (a powerful fourth kingdom). Daniel reveals the image's fate: a stone cut without human hands will strike the feet, shattering the entire structure. This stone represents God's eternal kingdom, which will crush all earthly powers and fill the whole earth. Because of this revelation, Nebuchadnezzar praises Daniel's God and promotes him greatly.
