Daniel 7

Daniel 7

Daniel receives a vision of four great beasts rising from the sea, representing four powerful Gentile kingdoms. The first is a lion with eagle's wings (Babylon). The second is a bear raised up on one side (Medo-Persia). The third is a leopard with four wings and four heads (Greece/Alexander's successors). The fourth beast is terrifying and powerful with iron teeth and ten horns (Rome/future empire). A little horn with eyes and a mouth (the Antichrist) rises up. The vision concludes with the judgment scene: the Ancient of Days takes His seat, and the Son of Man is given everlasting dominion.
