Galatians 5

Galatians 5

Paul declares, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery" (the Law). He warns that if they choose circumcision, Christ is of no value to them. Paul instructs believers to walk by the Spirit, which prevents them from fulfilling the desires of the sinful nature (the flesh). He lists the Fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
