Jeremiah 11

Jeremiah 11

God instructs Jeremiah to proclaim the terms of the covenant that God made with Israel when He brought them out of Egypt. God emphasizes that those who keep the covenant will be blessed. However, Judah has broken the covenant by following other gods. God declares that He will bring disaster upon them, and when they cry out, He will not listen. The chapter concludes with the discovery of a plot by the men of Anathoth (Jeremiah's hometown) to kill him, and God promising to judge them severely.
