Jeremiah 15

Jeremiah 15

God tells Jeremiah that even the intercession of the great figures of the past, like Moses and Samuel, would not save Judah from this judgment. God pronounces four devastating judgments: the sword, the dogs, the birds, and the beasts. Jeremiah laments his calling, wishing he had never been born to be a man of strife. God reassures Jeremiah, promising to make him a fortified wall of bronze against his persecutors. If Jeremiah returns to God's truth, God will make him a prophet again and deliver him.
