Jeremiah 31

Jeremiah 31

This chapter contains the most beautiful promises of restoration, culminating in the famous prophecy of the New Covenant. God promises to rebuild Israel and turn her mourning into joy. The most pivotal promise is that God will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. This covenant will not be like the broken covenant of the past. Instead, God will write His law on their hearts, and they will all know the Lord, and He will forgive their iniquity and remember their sin no more.
