Jeremiah 45

Jeremiah 45

This short chapter is a specific prophecy of comfort given to Baruch, Jeremiah's scribe. Baruch had been distressed while writing down all the prophecies of doom and destruction. God acknowledges Baruch's distress but reminds him that God is about to break down what He has built and uproot what He has planted across the whole earth. God promises Baruch that as a reward for his faithfulness, Baruch's life will be given to him as a prize wherever he goes, assuring his personal safety amidst the chaos.
