Jeremiah 48

Jeremiah 48

This long chapter contains the devastating prophecy against Moab. God declares that Moab will be destroyed because of its pride and contempt toward the Lord. The major cities of Moab will be overthrown, their warriors will howl in lamentation, and the land will be plundered. God expresses His own grief over the destruction. Despite the severity of the judgment, God promises a future restoration for Moab in the latter days, showing His ultimate redemptive purpose for all nations.
