Mark 3

Mark 3

Jesus continues to challenge the Pharisees' legalistic interpretation of the Sabbath by deliberately healing a man with a shriveled hand in the synagogue. The Pharisees are so enraged they begin plotting to destroy Him. Jesus appoints the Twelve Apostles to be with Him and to give them authority to preach and cast out demons. When the scribes accuse Jesus of being possessed by the prince of demons (Beelzebul), Jesus warns against the irreversible sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
